Hi,
I've got a model 66 with the same rattle coming from the feed dog... it stitches great, so i don't want to mess that up - but it would be nice if i could get rid of the racket! Did you ever find out how to fix that???

Thanks,
Christine

Thank you for asking about the decals, the company I used is no longer making them. They had a mishap with their printer that is far too expencive for them to fix. They where H&R Associates and their web site is still up with only one set of decals left for sale. http://206.248.136.107/decals/ It hurt me deeply as well, I had one more machine I wanted to do.

Can you please tell me where you got the decals for your machine. I have a 1904 crank handle machine I would like to refinish and I need to get the decals. I can't find them anywhere. Thanks

Hi. I admire your work and so I thought I'd pass this your way. I have just acquired a great Model 66. Kept well, very clean, all decals great, no rust. Still works (I had to replace the belt). BUT...It doesn't seem to be timed correctly. As in, it will not make a complete stitch. How do you adjust the timing of the oscillating hook? I'm not sure if you take questions or can offer advise but I have searched the internet to no avail and I thought I'd try. I am a novice whose abandoned the horrible modern "do everything for you" machines. Thank you.

Web search brought me to your blog. Someone just gave me a Singer Red Eye in need of serious restoration. However no worse than yours for your pictures. My question is this---have you been able to fina a source for a manuel and do you know what kind of attachments came with these machines. I have always wanted a treadle and this is my chance. I was glad to see that you were able to order decals for this machine. The major cleaning my machine needs will probably mean the loss of the original decals. Glad to find your site and to find another sewing machine fanatic. I have a Singer featherweight, the redeye and another singer portable I have yet to idewntify the model number. I'm looking for a Pfaff #130. My dad sold these in the '50's and I demonstrated them for him at age 6. Thanks for the info on the blog.
